World Class Teachers are currently looking for a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant to fill a position in a mainstream primary school located in Tower Hamlets to work on a 1:1 basis with a year 3 pupil with autism and SEB needs.
Duration: Long Term Supply
Type: Full Time
Pay: £80 – £90 per day (incl stat holiday pay)
Location: Tower Hamlets
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with autism, challenging behaviour and complex needs
- Experience working in a UK classroom setting
- Commitment and flexibility
- Behaviour management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as individually
- Understanding of primary school curriculum
- Excellent work ethic and positive attitude, ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to arrange for one
- Excellent references covering at least the last 2 years of employment
